    You are looking at the1983 Hess toy truck, dubbed "The First Hess Truck".  This truck has never been played with; possibly in storage since 1983.  Cardboard backing inserts are included.  Headlights and tail lights have been tested and work.  Power switch is red, not black.  The box is in very good condition.  The year 1983 has been written in pen on one side, but otherwise unblemished.  Additional pictures can be made available upon request.
