The Trump Taj Mahal opened in 1990 as the 8th Wonder of the World. Owned and operated by US President Donald J. Trump. These cups were used to hold coins for use in the slot machines. In the early days all slot machines used actual coins. Later they did away with coins. Every casino in Atlantic City and Las Vegas issued their own cup. You would see folks walking around the casino floor searching for a lucky machine. I got this during my many trips to Atlantic City. This has been stored in a cupboard for many years.
