    Description

    This is a J.S. Wooley Photo Artist Worlds Fair 1893 Chicago Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon. It measures about 5 3/4” long and was made in the United States for the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair or The Columbia Exposition. The bowl of the spoon is gold washed and engraved J. S. Wooley, Photo Artist. Wooley was a famous Adirondack Artist of New York State. The front of the spoon has a ship on the top and a Portrait of Christopher Columbus 1492 and says World’s Fair toward the center. The back side says U.S. Sterling. Spoon is in Excellent Condition.
