    ABOUT THE CHIA SEED
Chia is grown commercially for its seed, a food that is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Chia seeds are typically small ovals with a diameter of about 1 millimeter. They are mottle-colored with
brown, gray, black, and white. The seeds are hydrophilic, absorbing up to 12 times their weight in liquid when soaked. While soaking, the seeds develop a mucilaginous gel-like coating that
gives chia-based beverages a distinctive texture.
Although they have similar health benefits to flax seeds, chia seeds may soon edge these out because they don't have to be ground prior to consumption, and they don't go rancid as quickly
either. In fact, chia seeds are said to last up to two years with no refrigeration, courtesy of the high levels of antioxidants they contain.
In a study of 67 metabolic syndrome patients, those who drank a beverage containing chia seeds for two months experienced weight loss as well as a reduction of triglycerides and blood glucose
levels. It's thought that the combination of fiber and protein in chia seeds, along with the gel-like texture it takes on when combined with liquid, contributes to feelings of fullness and
satiety. Among such benefits, the people supplementing with chia seeds for 12 weeks, returned results of reduced systolic blood pressure and significant decreases in A1C, a measure of a
person's average levels of blood glucose. Fibrinogen, a natural clotting agent that when lowered improves blood flow, was also decreased, as was an inflammatory marker called hs-CRP, which went
    down by 40%.
    CHIA SEED HISTORY
Salvia hispanica, commonly known as chia, is a species of flowering plant in the mint family, Lamiaceae, native to central and southern Mexico and Guatemala. The 16th-century Codex Mendoza
provides evidence that it was cultivated by the Aztec in Pre-Colombian
times; economic historians have suggested it was as important as maize as a food crop. Ground or whole chia seeds are
still used in Paraguay, Bolivia, Argentina, Mexico, and Guatemala for nutritious drinks and as a food source.
    CHIA SEED OIL HEALTH BENEFITS
Our HEALTH SOLUTION PRIME Chia Seed Oil 2000 formula is among the best on the market! Our Chia Seed Oil is a non-fish source of essential & natural omega fatty acids!
Chia Seed Oil are a quick and easy-to-use source of protein, healthy fats, dietary fiber, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, all rolled into one neat package. Don’t be fooled by the size! These tiny seeds pack a powerful nutritional punch.
1 ounce (28 grams) serving of chia seeds contains:
    Fiber: 11 grams
    Protein: 4 grams
Fat: 9 grams (5 of which are Omega-3)
    Calcium: 18% of the RDA
    Manganese: 30% of the RDA
    Magnesium: 30% of the RDA
    Phosphorus: 27% of the RDA
They also contain a decent amount of Zinc, Vitamin B3 (Niacin), Potassium, Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) and Vitamin B2.
The Food and Nutrition Board of the National Institute of Medicine suggests that men under the age of 50 consume 38 grams per day and women under the age of 50 consume 25 grams per day. For
adults over 50 years age, the recommendation for men is 30 grams per day and for women is 21 grams per day. Most people are not consuming even half of that recommendation in a day. The easiest
way to increase fiber intake is to increase your consumption of plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and unprocessed grains. Just one ounce of chia seeds provides 10 grams of
fiber, almost half the daily recommendation for a woman over 50!
Chia Seed Oil is high in several nutrients that are important for bone health. This includes calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and protein. The calcium content is particularly impressive 18% of the RDA in a single ounce. Gram for gram, this is higher than most dairy products. Chia seeds may be considered an excellent source of calcium for people who don’t eat dairy.
Fiber is associated with reducing inflammation, lowering cholesterol and regulating bowel function. Chia Seed Oil is an excellent source of fiber, with a whopping 10 grams in only 2 tablespoons. That is one-third of the daily recommended intake of fiber per day!
    Antioxidants:
Chia seeds are rich in antioxidants that help protect the body from free radicals, aging and cancer. The high antioxidant profile also helps them have a long shelf life. They last almost two
    years without refrigeration.
    Minerals:
Two tablespoons of chia seeds contain 18 percent of the DRI for calcium, 35 percent for phosphorus, 24 percent for magnesium and about 50 percent for manganese. These nutrients help you prevent
hypertension and maintain a healthy weight, and are important for energy metabolism and a part of DNA synthesis.
CHIA SEED OIL RICH IN OMEGA 3-6-9
Chia seeds are rich in polyunsaturated fats, especially omega-3 fatty acids. Chia seeds' lipid profile is composed of 60 percent omega-3s, making them one of the richest plant-based sources of
these fatty acids - specifically, of alpha-linolenic acid, or ALA.
ALA - Alpha-linolenic alcid is the omega 3 found in our power seeds, chia, hemp and flax, as well as other sources such as English walnuts and some fruits and vegetables. This is the omega 3
that you get from plant sources.
In fact, chia seeds contain more Omega-3s than salmon, gram for gram!
Chia Seed oil is cold-pressed, unrefined and it comes in softgels. Chia Seed Oil is 100% animal free, and guaranteed for purity, freshness and labeled potency. Chia Seed Oil typically contains:
    Alpha-Linolenic Acid (Omega-3) Linoleic Acid (Omega-6), Oleic Acid (Omega-9).
