  • Condition: Salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door has a solid Douglas fir core with a 1/8" Douglas fir veneer. The door is stained on both sides. The width of the door was unevenly cut by 1/4". We could cut the door to an even height/width, cut it narrower or shorter, or even build it up to be bigger/taller--message us for a quote. The door is strong, sturdy, and in good structural condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. The door has a small crack in the veener (see last photo). Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks". All of the glass is intact and in great condition with only subtle scratches. Swing and dimensions listed below.     Vintage Custom Colonial Entry Doors w/3 lites
    Robust
    , vintage, exterior door  salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door has a solid Douglas fir  core with a 1/8" Douglas fir veneer. The door is stained on both sides.
    Please don't think that "veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the  paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture, these veneers are  1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Oak is a very dense wood and the door would've warped long ago if it  weren't for its veneers.
    Hardware

    The door comes equipped with a set of hinges, a lockset deadbolt set, and 3 decorative strap hinges.
