1988 Hess Toy Truck & Racer w/ working head/taillights + Friction Racer -
This neat HESS
1988 Toy Truck & Racer was only removed from the box in order to take photos as well as to test if it works (it does!).
This truck features working head and tail lights, as well as a separate friction racer.
I have tested all components and they all seem to work. The switch on the bottom activates the head and tail lights on the truck. The racer does not feature any lights, and does not require any batteries - it uses a friction motor to simply push in one direction and it'll run under its own power.
The truck appears to be fairly clean, with working electronics. The racer is still in its bag, so I have not removed it. There are some signs of wear on the truck, in particular some scuffing/discoloration on some of the chrome elements on the front and top (the final photo displays the scuffing on the front). The cardboard inserts and box may have a bit of wear. As such, I have marked this as "Used".
Please note that the (1) D battery for the truck is
not
included. The instructions for use are on the side of the box. Please see all photos, as they act as part of the description.
