This auction is for PICTURED 1984 The Hess Fuel Tanker With Bank COMPLETE WITH NICE BOX. With this update of the 1977 Fuel Oil Tanker, Hess introduced the first-ever bank model to the fleet, adding a coin slot on the top of the tanker. Kids could access their money by turning the cap to open a door at the back. This was the first model with all logos and lettering printed onto the plastic, ending the twenty-year run of using decals to add the detail to the toys.
