    Description

    16 ounces of Roasted Honduran Coffee, SHG (Strictly High Grown - grown altitudes more than 1,200 meters / 4,000 feet above sea level). The green Honduran coffee beans are roasted in small batches to a medium dark to almost dark roast. The roasted coffee beans are cooled then bagged whole, to keep the coffee as fresh as possible. The roasted beans are ground by the buyer as needed. Whole roasted coffee beans will maintain their freshness for weeks longer than already ground coffee. Burr grinders will give you more consistent ground coffee than blade grinders (though both will work).
    I recommend using fine metal or plastic mesh filters instead of paper filters as paper filters absorb the natural coffee oils that gives coffee much of its flavor and body. Likewise, use filtered water if possible as chlorine and sediments found in tap water can also affect the flavor of your coffee. You may wish to experiment with the coffee to water ratio to brew this coffee to your exact preference. Storing your coffee beans in a dark airtight container helps prevent oxidation and preserves the freshness longer. This Honduran coffee has a natural sweetness, smooth body, and wonderful rich aroma.
